YouthEmpowered Newsletter October 2020
OCTOBER 2020
WHAT COMES NEXT?
Schools, churches, offices and even the usual traffic are all reopening, life seems to be getting back to some sort of normalcy. Covid-19 halted the world, gave us a break, with lots of time to think, time to reflect and time to plan our next move. Now that the world is opening up once again, the question becomes what comes next?
The answer to this question depends on what you did during the lockdown. If you spent the lockdown learning new skills or taking online courses to improve yourself, business or career, then now is the time to put those new skills and training to good use.
However, If you spent the lockdown chilling, bonding with family, or just taking care of your mental health then you cannot afford to throw all that effort away just because you are going back to your “normal routine”. Strengthen that bond you built, keep your physical and mental status healthy. Life may be returning to some sort of normalcy, but you cannot allow all you gained during the break to go to waste.
By using all you gained during the lockdown to re-position yourself physically and mentally in the right place, you are opening up the right doors in the new economy.
So what did you spend your time doing and what effort are you putting in to ensure these things benefit you as the world reopens?
