Launch of first Pilot of Modern Guidance & Counselling centre in Government School in Lagos State

A modern guidance & counselling centre was set up in Eko Akete Grammar School, Lagos State and it was launched in August 2014. The centre was part of the CSR initiatives of Sahara Foundation. The centre has a library to provide the students with resources on career, social and educational development. It has some computers that are connected to the Internet to help the students to access materials online. The centre is powered entirely by solar power. It is managed by a trained professional counsellor.
