Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG) | Culture Change Project for the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation (OHCSF)
Digital communication in the civil service is a key driver in the actualization of a more effective and robust Nigerian public service. We supported AIG to facilitate digital communications training sessions for members of The Adjunct Communications team at the Office of the Head of Service. Post training, we provided the team with three months of additional support via a virtual platform.
The digital training sessions covered content management, image storytelling and understanding the algorithms of social media platforms . A pro-bono session on goal setting was organized to encourage participants to track their progress, overcome procrastination and visualize their dreams.
One key success story from the training is that participants stated that they can now perform the following tasks: content creation, social media analytics and telling stories with images.
